Constable Rayeroft, of Moneta, had started the investigation that led to the charge against the porter, a couple of suitâ€" cases containing liquor having been found in the ear. Officers MeCauley and Grenier had assisted Officer Rayâ€" eroft in the case, but their evidence was not clear or definite in connecting the accused with the alleged breach of the law. The Magistrate dismissed the case after hearing the evidence. Mrs. Bergerhout was committed for trial before a judge on a charge of a breach of the section of the Code reâ€" lating to articles, medicines or drugs intended or represented as for illegat purposes.
