□ O ntario Votes 2018 Voting for the Oakville and Oakville North-Burlington ridings With just a few weeks left until the June 7 pro­ vincial election Oakville residents are reminded that the group of candi­ dates they have the option of voting for will depend on where they live. The recent redrawing of the riding boundaries means Oakville residents now find themselves in one of two ridings- the Oakville riding or the Oakville North-Burling- ton riding. The Oakville riding (electoral district 074) holds a population of 120,920. This electoral district boundary commences at the northeastern town limit southwest along Dundas Street East, southeast along Eighth Line, southwest along Up- Oakville North-Burlington riding per Middle Road to the southwest town limit. Registered voters liv- Oakville riding ing within this riding have the option of voting for Liberal Candidate Kevin Flynn; Progressive Con­ servative Candidate Ste­ phen Crawford; NDP Can­ didate Lesley Sprague; Green Party Candidate Emily DeSousa; and Lib­ ertarian Canadiate Spen­ cer Oklobdzija. The Oakville North- Burlington riding (elec­ toral district 075) holds a population of 129,080. The Oakville boundar­ ies include Oakville, north of Dundas Street East between Ninth Line and Eighth Line, and Oak­ ville, north of Upper Mid­ dle Road East between Eighth Line and Burloak Drive. The Burlington bound­ aries include Burlington, north of the Queen Eliza­ beth Way between Bur­ loak Drive and Walkers Line. It also covers the area north of Upper Middle Road, between Walkers Line and Guelph Line with Highway 407 as the north-easterly limit. Registered voters liv­ ing within this riding have the option of voting for Liberal Candidate Alvin Tedjo; Progressive Con­ servative Candidate Effie Triantafilopoulos; NDP Candidate Saima Zaidi; Green Party Candidate Marianne Workman; and Libertarian Candidate Charles Zach.
