Warning to Other Branches With unemployment still very genâ€" eral in the Dominion and the towns of Northern Ontario being overrun with men who are travelling from one place to another it has come to my notice that secretaries and other Legion offhâ€" cials fire advising exâ€"gervicemen to journey to Timmins. The Legion in has enough men on its unâ€" employed list to fill all possible deâ€" mands for labour in this immediate vicinity, these in addition to the hunâ€" dreds of others who are unemployed make Timmins a place to be advoided as far as possible. Last year the Timâ€" mins branch of the Canadian Legion made a practice of helping along any returned soldiers that happened to come into town aand these men in reâ€" turn for the kindness shown have genâ€" erously made in known that there is e handâ€"out after a tedious boxâ€"car journey into this town. It would be advisable for all local Legion officials in Northern Ontario to take Timmins off the list. We have no handâ€"out for any men who may come in.
