The one, the Cairns Hospital, conducted by Mrs. Moffatt, has been in operation for sevâ€" eral years. The other, St. Joseph‘s Hospltial, conducted by Mrs. O. A. Farley, was recently established at 120 Maple street, and has bheen of much good service. At present there is an active movement on foot to secure a general public hospital for the needs of the people of the town and district who are not employees of the mines. Timmins Rink is one of the particularly useful buildings in town which the people can thank the Hollinger Mine. During the summer Rink gave fine service as a market building.
