There was some of the number of teams probable in the disâ€" trict this coming season, and ‘the sugâ€" vestion was made that a Poreupine Local or Mines League might hbe a good idea, the various clubs to affiliate with the N.O.F.A., paying a $5.00 membership fee, The following officets were elected for the NOF.A. for the ensuing For vear Wilson. Mr. WV. Field gave notice of motion to be presented to the next meeting of the N.O.F.A., requiring a deposit of $50.00 to be made at the beginning of the season by each team in the N. In the past the defaulting of games has proved a drawback to the ‘best interests of football as well as a decided loss in many cases to individual clubs. The purpose of the proposed deposit is to avoid this condition. At the annual meeting the Presiâ€" dent, Mr. Laidlaw, reviewed the work of the N.O.F.A. during the past seaâ€" son, and showed how the interest in football was being maintained and advanced.
