The board discussed the issue N ov 30 at the meeting it held at Burlington City Hall. A m otion was passed to ensure there is a comprehensive anti-sexual harassment policy in place for the Halton Regional Police Service, w hich includes the training of officers on appropriate workplace behaviours. The board established a new sub-committee on the issue that includes the two deputy chiefs, Carol Crowe and Nishan Duraiappah, two board m em bers-- new member Ingrid Hann and Jason W adden (w ho recommended the committee) and the boards executive director Julie Moscato. "I am expecting to m eet on a m onthly basis w ith a first meeting in the n ew year. It is our hope to have results in the 2018 calendar year," Moscato said.
