An all new running clinic designed to address the needs o f beginner runners gets under way in O akville at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16th. This "first step" seven-week program of class room instruction and group fun runs will be con ducted at the Running Company in downtown Oakville. Experienced instructors and guest lecturers cover the basics of running, including motivation, injury prevention, nutrition, and the proper choice of shoes and apparel. Cost for the entire clinic is $40 which includes training and instruction manual. Each Saturday m orning session will last approxim ately 1.5 hours. All instruction will be conducted from the R unning C om pany's location at 118 Thom as Street, downtown Oakville, 815-1952.
