B“ The eastern boundary. under the Borden resolution. the extended east- erly boundary of Manitoba. will run from the present northeast corner of the province to Island Lake. and thence to the point where the 89th meridian of west longitude intersects the shore line of Hudson Bay. That point is far to the southeast ol Port Nelson. As already announced. the Province ol Ontario will. however. have access to Port Nelson. This will be done under arrangement with manitoba and not under the Boundaries Bill. An early announcement will be made ol the arranrement. under which the claims of both Ontario and Manitoba for access to Port Nelson on Hudson Bay have been satisï¬ed.
