The Halton Multicultural Council (HMC) hosted its annual New Year's Eve Around the World event Feb. 9 at the Halton Regional Centre on Bronte Road. Volunteers and employees were invited to dress up and host booths from their respective countries showcasing New Year's Eve celebrations for the open house, which was open to the public.
