Make Your Move, Oakville' s popular Family Day celebration returns, many free, family-friendly activities and events for families to enjoy Make Your Move Oakville is a public education and awareness program to promote the benefits of healthy, active lifestyles and encourage residents to participate in various sport and recreational activities. "Every Family Day, I am reminded of how fortunate W endy and I were to raise our children in such a safe, friendly and livable community," stated Mayor Rob Burton, in a media release. "On Monday, I invite everyone to celebrate family by enjoying the wonderful recreation, arts and cultural events offered throughout Oakville." Participants can take part in a number of activities including volleyball, basketball and yoga or can visit the Oakville M useum ' s Art and Fashion exhibit.
