Red Cross provides assistance to victims during disasters, large or small normally consisting of the provision of food, clothing and shelter, and the reuniting of families. , We assist seniors, ill and convalescent persons, and those with special needs, to remain independent at home with dignity, in safety and comfort. We lend medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs and bathing aids. We provide drives to enable people to go to medical appointments and therapy and adult day programs.
