B y G eo ffrey t was a bright sunny day in N ew York City. A ll o f a sudden the clouds started I rolling in from the north. It made the whole ' city look as black as the blackest cat I have ever seen. It was only 3 hours before the F5 tor nado was going to hit. Todd was sightseein g in downtown and could n 't b elieve how big the buildings were. In Kansas the buildings were only half the size. ^ _ Todd left his friend Laura back at the hotel room. Laura heard the weather report on the radio and decided to follow him to let him know that a tornado was going to hit the ^ city in three hours. Once Laura reached Todd, who was at the Empire State B uilding, Judas show ed up. "The son o f a dum m y", said Todd. "Who's that?" Asked Laura. "He bugged me when my mom died" said , Todd. A s the tornado drew closer, Judas put a gun to their heads and tied Todd and Laura to the light ning conductor. Judas w asn't only a bully, but | also a killer. The tornado was com ing closer and closer. Todd and Laura didn't know what to do. The Todd had an idea! The watch he was wearing was also a mini chainsaw ! Judas snatched it from him! N ow they were doomed! The Tornado was com ing closer. Todd knew g P that soon they were going to die. Todd was thinking as hard as he could to try and save their a liv es. He knew just what to do. He started biting the ropes. "Hurry Todd, hurry," said Laura. Todd kept biting, but every |\ time got them loose, Judas H f · kept tying them up W again! W M m W/f It was only thirty seconds before the tornado was going to hit the Empire 1; . State Building! Finally, Todd got them loose. They ran dow n the I , --v stairs when Judas w asn't V -A looking, but when he saw r-^ that they got loose, he came after them with his gun. When Todd and Laura got to the bot tom it was only ten seconds before Judas and the tornado would hit! Todd and Laura escaped just in time but Judas didn't. As he got to the ground he got sucked into the tornado. N ow it was Todd and Laura who didn't want to die! N ow their lives were depending on them. They ran faster and faster. They turned a com er a n d ...... a deadend! The tornado turned to the deadend where Todd and Laura were. The deadly torna do picked the two o f them up; they closed their eyes expecting to die. Todd was very scared, Laura was cry ing hysterically. For three hours they were pelted by hail stones, deafened by thunder, blinded by lightning, and got huge bruises from big objects. Would this deadly tornado ever end? Finally, the tor nado put them down gently and covered them with a com fy blanket!!!
