Also, a short walk is involved, but suitable for all ages, and leave `Rover' at home. Bring a blanket to sit on around the campfire. Flashlights will help you find your car but not to be used during the hike. Victorian dress will be displayed, and interpreters will wear dresses from other time periods. A basic overview of these periods will be offered to enhance the experience. Along with this fun, there will be Victorian amusements for children (free crafts). House tours and demonstrations will also be offered, and tasty jam made on the wood stove can be purchased, as always, in the Gift Shop. All proceeds go to the Friends of Bronte Creek, a non-profit organization. In the evening, check out the Spirits of Bronte, a nostal gic look at the history of the park presented by costumed, interactive actors.
