The script calls for a black clad stranger to ride into a small frontier town. He initially initially makes the townsfolk nervous, nervous, but when he introduces them to a special McDonald's BBQ sauce sandwich (soon to be released in the US), the ten sion bursts and the story has a happy ending. The spot will air south of the Canadian border this October. Correction - The sidewalk work on Station St will be finished by the end of the end of the month. Docville, a locally run attraction styled after the legendary legendary Dodge City, has been chosen as the ideal backdrop for a McDonald's commercial. Last Thursday, several equipment trailers, along a cast of twelve and crew of 70, arrived at the replica Wild West town in Newcastle where a big bam was turned into a film studio. The team worked straight through the night into Friday morning. Docville founder and operator operator Steve "Doc" Holliday, has welcomed movie crews in the past, but this latest production for the world-famous burger chain beats everything he's seen there to date. "I've had half a dozen shoots here since I started the town, but this is by far the biggest," he said surveying the activity. Information about Docville is available to commercial and movie producers through the Ontario Movie and Film Development Corporation which has files on potential locations all over the province. That's where location scout Gerry Salsberg discovered the Clarington property. He predicts predicts a busy future ahead for Docville as word spreads in the industry. "Doc has a wonderful facility facility here," said Salsberg, of Toronto."And it's great to get out of the city." Daycare Wanted in Orono Daycare needed before and after school for a 9-year-old boy.
