In 2000 and 2001, Delphi's voice recognition system goes into high volume pro duction. The voice recognition system allows drivers to control devices such as the radio, CD player, naviga tion system, cli mate control or cell phone with voice only. The technol ogy, which offers automatic speech recognition in sev eral different lan guages, provides a natural intuitive voice interface. "We have designed our mobile multimedia systems with sim ple and easy-to- use operator interface features so drivers can keep their hands on the steer ing wheel and eyes on the road," said Robert W.
