"Six Nations to host little NHL"

The twenty-seventh annual Little NHL will hopefully bring eighty minor hockey teams to the Six Nations March 16-19 of 1998 at the Six Nations Arena.

Six Nations Minor Hockey President Seek Hill put Six Nations on the bidding table at last years Little NHL held in Sudbury.

Hill won the bid and found out half hour before the Opening Ceremonies. When he found out he rushed to the arena, hat head and all to receive the Ceremonial Staff at the Opening Ceremonies and said a few words.

A years work in progress, the Little NHL will be clocking in over sixteen hours a day of hockey, hockey, hockey with the Atom/Peewee division at the Wayne Gretzky Centre, the Tyke/Novice Division at Lions Park in Brantford and Six Nations will be home the Bantam/Midget Division. Six Nations can look forward to at least a $20,000 dollar ice bill for ice. Six Nations will be well represented in the tournament with teams in every division.

Girls will be allowed to participate up to the Pee Wee level and there will be full contact from Pee Wee on up. Final cut-off day to register for the Little NHL is January 31, 1998.
