Description
A letter from Dr. George C.R. Hall to editor of the Globe and Mail newspaper questioning the absence of the Prime Minister's picture from the Administration Building at the Canadian National Exhibition when pictures of the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Great Britain were present. A digital copy of this photo was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.
Notes
In George C.R. Hall’s words, “We keep telling the world that we are our own masters in the British Commonwealth, and yet at the greatest annual show in the world we didn’t have a picture of our Prime Minister on display.”
