March saw Beverley Burr as Prom Princess at Thornhill H. S. formal, and the Buttonville W.I. heard from high school teacher Jean Lek what it in like to be a teacher in a girls’ school in Ger- many, Patricia Patterson won a public speaking trophy for her Explorer group and was the third of her group to do so in succes- sive years; and Rebecca Sislers’ sculpture pieces were accepted for the 0.S.A.
