Ernesto is survived by his children Maria, Domenico, and Giovanna as well as his sisters Domenica and Mariantonia, the Mastrella family, and his many other nieces and nephews who he dearly loved as well as his dear friends and neighbours Heather and Kendra Lee. The family would also like to dearly thank the many people who have loved, cared for and supported Ernesto during these last years of his wonderful life - the exceptional and dedicated staff of Vistamere and the Waterford: his doctors, nurses, and PSWs, the many dear residents he called friends, OTMH staff, Chaplain Hillar Alkok, and all the many community volunteers and Catholic/Christian priests and faith parishioners who have visited and supported him so unconditionally. LAZENBY, M. Jean January 1, 1926 to August 8, 2015 Very dearly loved mother to Lesley Reid (Peter Donlevy) and Krys Reid. Nanna to Shayna, Michael, Krysten, Cecelia and Parker. Loving sister to Mick (Tona) and awesome aunt to Marcus (Karen), Jason (Kirsty) and Joanna (Richard). Jean's life was a very richly woven tapestry. After retiring in 1992 from a well-travelled career with External Affairs, she turned her many superlative talents to volunteering at Royal Botanical Gardens, hiking, exploring Canada, bridge and painting. An accomplished artist in many mediums, the masterpieces that once were modestly stored away in dark places are now proudly on display amongst our family homes. A very heartfelt thank-you to the entire staff and volunteer group at Joseph Brant Hospital who supported us in too many ways to mention - always with a smile, compassion and empathy. Fortunate family and friends will be well heart-warmed when they think of how many ways Jean enriched their lives with such positive energy - a tribute and a legacy to a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend well loved.
