The incident took place at around 10 p.m. with one of the vehicles knocked on its side by the force of the impact. Halton police, the Oakville Fire Department and Halton EMS were called to the scene. Police said charges are pending against one of the drivers. The cause of the crash wasn't clear at the Oakville Beaver's press time yesterday (Wednesday) but a police investigation was underway.
