- Description
- "Last month I had the privilege of representing the Six Nations Library Board at the second annual Aboriginal Library Gathering at the Akwesasne Reserve near Cornwall. This reserve straddles the St. Lawrence River and is partly in Ontario, partly in Quebec, and partly in New York State. Akwesasne is Mohawk for :where the partridge drums." It is typical of the colorful, descriptive names given by the native people."
