- Killed by the train. Word comes from Woodstock of the accidental death of a son of Mr. Chris. Babb, formerly an employee of the Rattan factory here. It appears that two of Mr. Babb's children, both very small, wandered away, and in due course, two older ones, a boy and a girl, were sent to look for them. The two latter, in their search, wandered onto the railway track. The little girl jumped one side and escaped injury, but the boy was struck and instantly killed. The accident took place on Thursday last.
