event will definite ly be back again next year on bigger scale The event was straight test of pulling strength by Wide range of trucks Twentysix entries took part and held large crowds atten tion for almost three hours There were four main classes in the 30Hoot event and the winners were In the short wheel base under 102 inches V8 four wheel drive stock class the first place went to Larry Hidson of Burl ington pulling 3300 pounds on sled 300th in 117 seconds Second place in the same event went to Mark Plouffe Burl ington with pull taking 118 seconds and third went to Gary In the long wheel base fourwheel stock V8 class top honors went to Bill Henderson RR Kippen who won with time of 105 seconds pulling weight of 4300 pounds Second prize in the same class was won by Albert Rosseboom of
