hit the area late Sunday afternoon The storm accompanied by high winds and heavy lightning hit at pm Sunday and lasted about an hour Guy Cluff assistant superintendent with the Barrie Public Utilities Commission PUC said three major transmission lines each carrying 40000 volts or more were struck by lightning and numerous services were torn down by trees felled by the high winds Its pretty had to
