retail cultural anc recrea tional centre Woods Gordon got some sup port on planning board on the basis of its hardheaded ap proach to the economic factors involved in revitalization City Planner Rick Jones also sup ported Woods Gordon which he said would probably produce better finished product than MacLaren and Diamond However other board members said MacLaren can provide highquality market in formation and has stronger commitment to public par ticipation In addition some board members said Diamonds ap proach would get peoples adrenalin pumping and help sell revitalization to the landowners
