Man attacked at Oakville house party A 23-year-old Oakville man has been charged after a guest was beaten at a house party on Ballantry Road early Sunday morning. The incident began at around 3 a.m., when the Oakville man decided the party was getting out of hand and began asking people to leave the house. Halton Regional Police said a 21-year-old Milton visitor did not depart quickly enough and, as a result, was allegedly punched repeatedly in the face. The man suffered several cuts and was taken to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Navid Mirza of Oakville has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
