This Master Plan Update identified the need ta expand the Mid Halton Wastewater Treatment Plant and ta construct a new trunk sewer from Boyne Pumping Station ta Oundas Street/ ,nt *00"! Separate studies were conducted for both of these projects in accordance with Schedule C of the Municipal Clans Envirosment Asseosment Document (October 2000 as amended in 2007), which s approved under the Ontario Environment Assessment Act. y The Process MdHfo As a part of the Environmental Assessment (EA) studies, Public Information Centre (PIC) meetings were held on May 14, 2009 and October WT 1, 2009. The first PIC outlined the background information, proposed a decision making approach, presented a long list of alternatives, as vieil as screevivg criteria, and the detailed evaluation criteria. The second PIC recommevded preferred design alternatives identified through the screenivg and detailed evaluation processes. Based on ivput received at these PICs as well as input from review agencies and other key stakeholders, the Region and ils consultants have prepared the Envirosmental Study Report (ESR) for each af these projects, Environmental Study Report <ESR) By this Notice, the ESR la being placed on the public record for review in accordance with the requirement of the Municipal Clas Envirosmental Asseasment procesa.
