This is the Choristers' 38th season, with rehearsals begin- ning September 5. The group's upcomtng season will combine both classical and contempo- rary themes. The playbill features Carols and Culture in December, the whimsical Silly Side of Singing on - of course - April 1 for April Fools Day and wraps up with Bella Vivaldi in June. The choir rehearses at Knox I 'Iryvc-l (c i c hil on NlaiI Street'ever Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m. 'mn thrilled to be returning for a [ifth season with the Choristers, who continuously look for new ways to stretch their vocal skill and knowledge to provide a high level of choral performance," said Sonja van de Hoef, director of the Choristers. "We're preparing for an exciting 38th season and will be collaborating with many wonderful musicians." One such collaboration will be with the ensemble Arcady, mustc. In addition to the concerts, the Choristers will perform. at other community events including the Christmas tree- lighting ceremony at Milton District Hospital. Members also participate in workshops during the season to help improve their vocal technique.
