The bee wilI take place May 4 ai Haiton Hills Place Banquet Hall on Steeles Avenue in Milton ai 5 p.m., when speliers will take to the stage. In addition to the intrigue and amusement of aduhts vying for speiling supremnacy, the evening wiIi offer the live auc- îioning off of a drive in a Ferrari, as well as silent various auction prizes. Sponsored by Literacy North Halton, the bee has already enlisted 22 teamns from the area, with three people on each team. Participants are invited to dress as their favourite Iiterary charac- ters. There are fewer than 400 Enzos in the world. At the wheel of the Iuxury vehicle wiII be a professional Ferrari driver and racer, who'Il ensure the Iucky passengers ride is sale as welI as enjoyable. The bee's sulent auction wviIi include signed copies of books from Canadian celebrities like David Suzuki, Margaret Atwood and goifer Sandra Post. Tickets are on sale now and cost $30 each, which includes a meal. Since it started three years ago, the bee has sold out in advance.
