That means it has to give pnior approval to anyone who wants to use the name. Board communication -services man- ager Mamie Denton assured trustees durîng a recent vote on the namne of the new school that the nature protection association approves of the hoard's non-commercial use of the name. A nominal $2 fee will also he charged to the huard. With the go-ahead cleared, trustees chose Bruce Trail over the other two options, which were Ridgeview and Bridgebrook. The naming committee estahlished by the huard presented Ridgeview hecause of the prominence of the Niagara Fscarpment in Milton. Bridgehrook was chosen for its pleasing aesthetic sound. A total of 70 potential names were suhmitted to the committee. Suggestion boxes were placed in area schoots and public lihranres from Decemher 2005 to Fehruary.
