Nominations are currently being accepted for the second annual ATHENA North Halton awards, which will be presented May 25. The deadline for nominations iv March 31. Nominees must live or work in Milton or Halton His. The 2006 ATHENA Award recipiens will be chosen by a selection committee of prominene community leaders and presented as a gala award celebration as Glencairo Golf Club. The evening iv designed to celebrate ail the nominees including the recipi- ens, who will receive an ATHENA sculpture. ATHENA North Halton believes in incorporasing the salent and expertise of women into the leadership of local husinesses, communistes and goveon- mens. The ATHENA Award was launched in 1982 by the Ashena Foundation, a non-profit organizaoion dedicated so creasing leadership opportunistes for women.
