Construction is scheduled to take place in 2006. This project followed the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Process, which involved public consultations and the completion of an Environmental Study Report in October 2002. A Public Information Centre will be held to provide you with an opportunity to review the detailed project drawings and discuss any potential construction disruptions resulting from the proposed works. The vaccine will be offered at the same time that Registered Nurses are visiting the schools for the hepatitis B immunization program. Information packages about the Men C vaccine were sent home with students in early March. Youth who miss the clinic at their schools can receive the vaccine from their family doctors or contact the Health Department about community immunization clinics in Georgetown at 93 Main Street, or at the Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Rd. in Oakville.
