Halton Region, in co-operation with the citizen advisory Joint Municipal/Regional Waste Management Committee has updated the 1999 Strategy in order to, identify initiatives to extend the life of our landfill, propose waste diversion activities for the next five years, as well as options for managing our waste beyond 2010.
