Ile crash happened around 3 arn., short- ]y after police started getting calîs about a vehicle traveling the wrong way on l-wy. 401 westbound between Guelph Line and Regional Road 25, said OPP Sgt. Cam Woolley. "Officers arrived to ind a terrible crash in the westbound passing lane," he said, noting it was at the crest of a hill. The collision involved a black Pontiac Grand Prix and a silver Mazda. Two maIes from Kitchener traveling in the Mazda were pronounced dead at the scene, said OPP Const. Marcus Sanderson. Woman seriously hurt The female driver of the Pontiac, a 45- year-old xvornan from Woodstock, sus- tained lite îhreatening injuries and svas trapped in ber car for about tsvo hours. Paraniedics .ttended to ber while the Milton Fire Departinent assisted îhem and worked 10 extricale ber. "Her legs were crushed in the impact," Sgt. Woolley said. Milton firefighter and acting captain Mike Clouston was on the scene. He said extrications don't usually take su long, but this was an "extreme circumsîance." Woolley said he wasn't prepared to speculate at this point on which vehicle was driving the srong way. The names and ages of the Kitchener maies had not been released at press time. Sgt.
