Brendan Gomez. 18 who's believed to be a Peel Region resident is wanted on counts of break and enter. robbery. use of a Oirearm in comn- nussion of an offence. forcible confinement and wearing a disguise. Thse incident occurred around il1:40 p.m. when three young masked men walked into the spart- ment. one of themn brandishing a large silver hand- gun. Haiton Regionai Police Det. Duncan Taylor said a group of seven males and femnaies - believed to be in their early twenties - were having a get- together at the apartmnent. but only two of them actuaily reside at the Martin Street address. One of the male youths approached the intruders and was pushed to the floor. sustamning a minor wrist injury, said Det. Taylor. The other six youths were then ordered to lie on the floor. Thse intruders stole electronic home entertain- ment products. got into a " shiny black vehicle " and left. Det. Taylor said the total vaiue of the stolen goods isn't known yet. While the relationship between the youths and the men is still under investigation, Det. Taylor said typically in these types of situations tihe cul- prits "are aware of the individuals that are inside" the residence. "It's flot like something the average individual bas to be concemned about." he said. pointing out this type of incident is rare in Milton. Mr. Gomez ta described as fOve-foot-six, 145 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Police are urg- ing residents to contact them immediately if they spot him. The second suspect is described as black, approximately 20 to 25 years old, Oive-foot-seven with a skinny build. He was wearing ail black clothing at the time.
