The Walter J. Hachbomn Award for retail- ing excellence was recently presented by its namesake to the local store's owners, Angelo and Vincenza De Medicis. Mr. Hachhomn is one of the original Home Hardware founders and is the companys president today. The Milton store was selected from among nearly 1,000 locations across Canada for achieving the highest standards in retailing, merchandising, staff perform- ance and overall quaity of the store.
