The evens wilI sta-t at 9:30 a.m. at the Milton Leisure Centre with registration check-in from 8:30 teo 9:30 arn. Those tak- ing part can choose to walk a 5-kmn or 10- km route through acenic parks and histori- cal streets. 'he 5-km route is fully wheel- chair accessible. 'he honorary event chairs are Milton Mayor Gord Krantz and Halton His Mayor -Rick Bonnette. Last year, Super Cities Waik events acrosa Canada raiaed $9.5 miùllion. with the Milton-Halton His WaIk making up more than $60.000 of that figure. Proceeds are used to enhance the quality of life for people living with MS and to fund research for a cure. An estimated 50,000 Canadians are liv- ing with MS and women are twice as like- iy to, develop it.
