Every year, residents juin forces to pick up garbage in att shapes and forms from the roadsides and surrounding areas, which have been carelessly tossed out by titterbugs. 'Me items collected can be as smatt as paper cups and plastic boules or as large as couches, toitets and numerous tires. The smatter items are placed in garbage bags provided by the project organizers and att the trash is taken to the dumpsters provided by the Town of Milton or to the dump on Reid Sideroad. "We especially need people with pick-up trucks tu cotlect the garbage and drive the junk to the dumpsters," said Ms Woods. "We are short one pick-up truck at this point and extras are atways helpfut." Gloves, vests, and garbage bags are provided by the Region of Halton and the Town of Milton, sud can be delivered by une of the prujeet co-ordinators.
