The students fronn each of Haltons 86 sehools were representative of exceptional qualities ini as least two of the following areas: academnie, vocational and athletie fields, self- improvemnent, community work, citizenship and student leadership, or specifie criteria that reflects the school's unique priorities. "Our student excellence evening recog- nizes the outstanding achievemnents of the young people in our sehools today," said Halton District Sehool Board Chair Ethel Gardiner. "Parents, teachers and community mern- bers aIl contribute to helping these students receive the quality of education they deserve.
