A special lunch and dinner will be served March 23 at the restaurant, with proceeds going to the Red Cross. Tickets are sîil available. "Programs such as anti-bullying work- shops for youth, disaster response for fam- illes that have heen bumed out of their homes, and our home healtb equipment services ail address issues and situations that leave people vulnerable," said Alison Goertzen of the Red Cross. 'This March is Red Cross Month. We want to encourage people to find out wbat we do in their com- munity and alto how tbey can get involved." The lunch wdl start at 12:30 p.m. and costs $25. The Voices of Women for Peace is the theme of the evening slated for Rattiestiake Point Golf Club. It's part of International Women's Week (March 2 to 8) and UN International Women's Day (March 8). The keynote speaker in Milton will be Joy Wamer, the past national chair of Canadian Voices of Women. She will talk at 6:30 p.m. about issues involving women and peace and report on ber attendance tbis year as a delegate at the World Social Forum in Brazil.
