Several awards were handed out to floats in tour categories. The Town of Milton won for Best Overali Theme and Our Lady of Victory Sohool took first for Bestb Schaol Float. The Halton Agricultural Society and Dance Et. tied for Best Non-Themed Float, as did the Mlton Lions Club and Milton Toyota for Best Themed Float. Float winners received a cammemorative plaque from the Milton Santa Claus Parade Commlttee and will be formally recagnlzed December 10 at The lvy Arma. Parade organizers said they were pleased with this year's turnout, which was believed to b. the largeat ta date.
