The clean up took a Town crew about two hours ta complets. A wood chipper was reportedly used ta remove the tree. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident. Humane Society holds fundraiser The Oakville and District Humane Society will hold the 'Paws for the Cause: WaIk Against Violence' Saturday. The walk will take place at Glen Ahbey Recreation Centre in Oakville. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. followed by the walk at 9:30 ar. T'he walk will provide residents with the opportunity to walk- with or without their pets - while supporting the societys efforts to reduce violence against animais and people. "We encourage ail members of the community to pick up a pledge form and corne out to support our event and our cause," said Heather White, community service co-ordinator.
