Golden Eagles novices win Caledon tourney The Oakville novice white Golden Eagles recently won the championship at a house league hockey tournament in Caledon. Oakville won all four of its games at the tournament, including a 6-3 victory over the CMHA Red Devils in the final. Members of the Golden Eagles, who also won the Minor Oaks Hockey Association playoff title this year, are Scott Cestnik, Grayson Chapple, William Cockwell, Michael Dickinson, Ethan Malicki, Owen McConnell, Andrew Melamed, Nolin Mirabelli, Griffin Moore, Benjamin Othen, Damian Rothgerber, Troy Smits, Connor Susla, Quinn Vorster, Matthew Wallace and Trevor Wilush. The team is coached by Joe Susla, Andrew Cockwell and Vernon McConnell.
