The Canadien Champion, Friday, Jl 419~1 DLEIGH on North rk 4 Are You a Business Owner or Operator? As of June 1998, more than 376,000 net new jobs have been created in Ontario since the last election in 1995-the fastest growing job creation rate in Canada! Although governments play a major role by helping to create a positive environment for economic growth, the most important factor is people-the hard work of employees, the good management of employ- ers, and the courage and vision of entrepreneurs. This hard work, dedication, and vision has paid off for a number of Halton Region businesses, including Rubicon, Matthew Steel, Johnson Controls, and Gordon Foods. All of these businesses have recently expanded their job forces. I wish to recognize and celebrate our growing busi- ness commununity and want to enlist your help in doing so. If your business is planning an expansion, is hiring more staff, or is launching a new product, please let me know. Whether you are hiring 1 new employee, or 1000, I want to hear your success story, and assist you in spreading this good news by pub- licly supporting and recognizing your company's achievements. Please send your information to my constituency office in Milton. Thank you for your help, and congratulations on your success!
