The group is presenting its Jingle Bell Jazz concert on Saturday, Dec. 8 at ClearView Christian Reformed Church, 2300 Sheridan Garden Dr., at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $20. High Rendition Jazz will perform as guest artists. The jazz group is comprised of high school-aged musicians. The show will feature more than 90 voices for a number of the songs in the concert. There will also be performances by Circle of Harmony's En Route quartet. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to Ovarian Cancer Canada. Caribbean style Christmas The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH) is hoping people will come out to its concert to celebrate the holidays. The organization is hosting its Holiday Concert and Celebration open house on Sunday, (Dec. 9) at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. The event runs from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the CCAH Steelband and there will be singing of Christmas carols. Admission is pay what you can. There will be two performances, one at 1:30 p.m. and another at 4 p.m. The Oakville Children's Choir will join the orchestra on stage. The concerts last one hour and feature music of the season and carol singalongs. Tickets cost $26 for adults, $17 for seniors or $13 for students and children. For tickets, visit www.oakvillecentre.ca. It's a Wonderful Laugh improv Oakville Improv is bringing back its presentation of It's a Wonderful Laugh, which proved to be quite popular last year. The show is on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Central Baptist Church, 340 Rebecca St., at 8 p.m. It's a Wonderful Laugh is an improvised play based on the classic Christmas film It's a Wonderful Life. Proceeds from the show will go to the Christmas campaign at Kerr Street Ministries. Tickets cost $5. No reservations are being taken and people are asked to arrive early.
