RYRIE Durham Co-ordinator Crime Stoppera and the Durham Regional Police are asking for the publi's assistance in solving a robbery which occurred in Pickering on Nov. 10, 1986. At about 6:15 p.m. a man brandishing a knife entered Collisa's Clothing Store at 1271 Kingston Road which is i the Pickering Mews., He forced an employee to hand over the cash from the till and also took a ring from her finger. A customer who was in the store was also relieved of a small quantity of cash. He then forced both women to lie on the floor, telling them that they would not be hurt if they did what they were told. He ran from the store heading towards the west end of the plaza. The suspect is described as a white maie; 5 ft. 8 in. to 6 ft. tail; medium to slim build; 140- 150 lbs.; well trimmed beard with no moustache; and bis hair was above bis collar. He was wearing blue Jeans and a dark legther jacket. She was born in Toronto on, September 18, 1904, daughter of Er- nest Gascoyne and Lucy Hotchkin. She married William R. MacCarl in June 1924. She, resided in Pickering and Brooklln before moving to Whit- by in 1941. A housewife, she also worked for a short time at Chrysler. She was a member of the' Whitby Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by son Vernon and Ronald and daughter-in-laws Stella and Marian,, gran- dchildren Kent, Tina, Ronalda, Melamie, Alicia, Brad,ý Derek and great-grandchildren Adam, Ashley, Chad, Chase, Lindley and Jen- nifer. Ruddy Hospital on December 29, 1986. He was in bis 74th year. He was boni in Bracebridge, Ont., on January 12, 1912,,son of John Davis and Elizabeth Traves. He lived in Whitby for more than 50 years and was an employee of Stokely Van Camp (now Cobi Foods Inc.) for 35 years. He is survived by wife Lily, daughter Beverly (Mrs. Douglas Bell), sons Milton Jr., Edward and Harvey and gran- dchildren Kevin B ell1 and Kathy Davis., Also survived by brother Harvey of Oshawa. Plans for this year and newcommittees were formed. Also delegates were chosen to attend the OAS convention at the Royal York Hotel in Toron- to. The dates for this, years' fair were set.
