This- tour- nament was hosted by the Whitby Garrard Road Minor Lacrosse Association. With no loses, Whitby defeated Mississauga 11-1, Burlington 10-3, Toronto Beaches 7-1, Peterborough 4-3 in sudden deathovertime and Kitchener 4-3 in the final game. Leading goassorers durlng the weekend tournament were Bilan Power with eight and Gavin Prout with seven. In the final contests played Saturday, Foran's Roofing topped Scott's Colonels 23-19 and McFarlane Signa posted a 23-16 win over Anca Labs. Sunday morning saw the two undefeated teams of the tour- nament, Legal Beagles and Dom's Auto Parts, meet to determnine one side of the champion- sip series. The Beagles outchewed Dom's Auto 30-16. In the other contest, the battle of the beague glants, McFarlane Signs lettered a 24-18 declsion over Foran's Roofing. McFarlane Signa and Dom's Auto Parts met to determine who would advance to the Cham- pionsip series. Both teams demonatrated high quality basebal skills and sportsman- ship. Final score was McFarlane Signa 28, Dom's Auto Parts 14. The tension was building as MeFarlane Signa came from the losers' side to meet Legal Beagles in the Champîonip serles.
