Three teamns fromn Picton, and one team from Brock- ville, Cobourg and Whitby competed in a round robin tournament, playing off against each other tw ice. In the finals Whitby defeated Brockville two straight games 15-5 and 15-2. One teamn from Picton finished in third spot while W Cobourg's D'arcy Place finished fourth, and the other two Picton teams fifth Winners of the annual bu., and sixth. He and fellow team mates Darryl Sturgeon (vice), Bey Braham (2nd) and John Found (lead) won their first three gamnes before drop- ping the next two. Wozniak won the last game for runner up position, defeating Windsor RCMP skip Lyle Switzer 5-3. "We were down after those two straight losses, but we regained some com- posure and played well in the end," said Wozniak. "Everyone from across the province said ît was the best ice they had ever played on. " Next year's Ontario finals will be held in Niagara Falls, with the National finals ta be held in Saska toon.
