pupils under the direction of Music Supervisor The con- cert was held prior to the clos ing of school Each grade presented a few selections from its years work Included were solos and action songs by the junior classes and partsinging by the older- child ren A double quartet from Alex ander Muirs grade six class were guests The grade group gave an unusual perform ance for children at that age Michael Steel is this years show chairman Mrs Hendricks made a clean sweep of the trophies for Hie Iris show wining the Gordon cup for the sweepstake iris the Violet MacNaughton trophy for the host pedestal basket and plant stakes don by Eves and Co for the highest number of points in he show Mrs Hendricks wort It first prize six second prizes and three third with her en tries A close second to Mrs Hend ricks in total points in the Iris was Mr Ross Mr Arm it age lost by only two points hi the PeonyRose show Mrs Walker of won first place anil received plant stakes from W and Co Mr Walker hud
