indication of local interest in art was shown with the open ing on Saturday of an UCan exhibition at Pickering college Included were paint ings sculptures and crafts The show the work of past and present members of the body and staff of the col lege was catholic in scope and treatment It ranged from con ventional landscapes and still life to abstractions commercial designs and the work of repre sentational painters Various media as oils egg tempera ink and wash and water colors were included In the exhibition as were pewter Wood and color lithography- In so ailcmbracfng a showing
